Kay-Lee Nowers is a Registered Dietitian, who has a passion for food, nutrition, and health. Throughout her career, she has empowered individuals to take control of their own health by providing the necessary nutritional tools and knowledge, which allows them to make better lifestyle choices.
Kay-Lee received her Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree in Dietetics at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences from Stellenbosch University. After completing her degree, she went on to work as a Clinical Dietitian for Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. During her time at Groote Schuur, she provided specialised nutritional care to patients within the diabetes, nephrology, cardiology, oncology, paediatric, and ICU departments.
Kay-Lee then went on to work as a private practice Dietitian with a special interest in diabetes, oncology, weight management, paediatrics, and maternal nutrition.
In 2020, Kay-Lee relocated to the Cayman Islands where she worked as a Clinical Dietitian for one of the private hospitals on the Island. Her clinical role focused on Cardiology, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Bariatric, and GIT surgery.
