Psychosexual disorders are sexual problems which are psychological in nature, rather than physiological. We, as a team of sensitive doctors, consider a range of multiple factors which are typically the cause for the development of psychosexual dysfunctions. The general health of the patient, history of chronic illnesses, any psychiatric/psychological disorders and socio-cultural factors, alone or in combination are analysed very diligently to arrive at a personalised treatment because the symptoms vary for each individual and each gender. We classify these disorders as sexual dysfunction, paraphilias and gender identity disorders.
The core of our approach lies in establishing a warm and effective connection with our patient first because a connection based on trust goes a long way in improving the quality life of our patients.
While managing these orders, we rely on our most effective treatment, which is education. We educate the patient first since most of them are usually ignorant or misinformed about sexual response cycles and intercourse. After empowering them with the accurate information, we then arrive at the next step of treatment.
