What is Preventive Healthcare?

Our answer is to the point. Preventive Healthcare is an absolute necessity in today’s hectic, stressful and uncertain times. We aim to raise awareness of the importance of preventive healthcare as the need of the hour to measure, identify and minimise the risk factors for diseases. It helps every individual to be prepared of any health-related eventuality. It also helps them to improve the course of an existing disease and screens them for any secondary complications.

We cover the following important aspects under Preventive Healthcare:

  • Health Awareness
  • Health Promotion
  • Health Screening
  • Early Detection
  • Timely Treatment

We also educate patients with useful information relevant to various lifestyle changes that may be necessary to integrate in their daily lives in order for them to live a healthy and happy life which is completely disease-free.

Why is Preventive Healthcare so critical?

As professionals in the medical industry, we cannot emphasise enough about the importance of early detection and timely treatments which can save lives. Preventive healthcare is the key to a healthy life. We aim to educate our patients on how critical it is to detect the silent symptoms at the right time so that we can recommend the right precautionary measures.

Unfortunately, due to today’s hectic schedules, people cannot dedicate sufficient quality time to develop a healthy routine which includes nutritional diets and exercise. Unhealthy habits and lifestyles give rise to unwanted illnesses. It therefore becomes very necessary to visit the doctor for periodic check-ups to evaluate symptoms and to detect risk factors and diseases like Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension, Stress, High Cholesterol and Heart Diseases.

Does everyone need Preventive Health Check-up?

One should never take their health for granted. Individuals need to be on high alert and look out for any signs of change in their health. We recommend comprehensive health check-ups because they empower individuals with constant surveillance, much like CCTV cameras. We believe that a stitch in time saves nine and according to us every one needs to take the first step towards preventive healthcare.

Individuals over 35 years of age should take their health seriously, especially if they fall under the following categories:

  • Sedentary Lifestyles
  • Obesity
  • Smoking or Heavy Drinking Habits
